Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Chit Chat (chitvideochat.com). By using the service you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use Chit Chat.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter this agreement where you live. Accounts that belong to minors may be closed. Don’t use Chit Chat if the law where you are doesn’t allow it.

2. Your account

When you start, a guest account is created for you automatically. You’re responsible for what happens on your account and device, so keep access to it to yourself. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

3. How chats work

Chit Chat matches you at random with one other person for a video, voice or text conversation. We don’t control who you’ll meet or what they say, and we can’t promise that someone will always be available or that any particular person will be matched with you.

4. Rules of conduct

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, bully or intimidate anyone;
• show nudity or sexual content, or share anything involving minors — ever;
• record, screenshot or share other people’s video, voice or messages without their consent (screenshots attached to a report are the exception);
• ask for money, run scams, spam or advertise;
• send hate speech or content that promotes violence or self-harm;
• pretend to be someone you’re not in a way that misleads or harms others;
• use bots, scripts or anything that interferes with the service or other users;
• break any law.

5. Reports and moderation

Every user profile has Report and Block. We may review reports and may warn, restrict or remove accounts, and remove content, when we believe the rules were broken. To enforce these terms and keep minors off the service, still images may be captured during video matches and calls for review — see the Privacy Policy.

6. Coins and payments

Chit Chat is free to start: new users get a number of free matches. After that, calls use coins, which you can buy in the app. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. Coins have no cash value, can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to transmit, store and process it as needed to run the service, deliver it to the person you’re talking to, and handle reports. You’re responsible for what you share — think twice before showing anything you wouldn’t want a stranger to keep.

8. The service “as is”

We work to keep Chit Chat running, but we provide it as is and as available, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Chit Chat is not liable for the behavior of other users, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Chit Chat at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we’re required to by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Chit Chat after that means you accept the new terms.
